For the ultimate in versatility and convenience, you’ll want the One Bottle Hydration System for your wide mouth Nalgene bottle. The adapter screws into the smaller drinking spout of the included replacement lid - use the bite valve when you hike, and the small drinking spout with its own lock-back cap is much better than the wide-mouth lid in your vehicle! It fits on Hydro Flasks, Takeya/ThermoFlasks, and a wide variety of stainless bottles also.
If you’re an ultralight hiker you’ll probably be drawn to the 28mm/Smartwater system. The Smartwater bottle has become something of a standard vessel on the Appalachian/Pacific Crest trails - but you can upcycle any premium water or soda bottle! There’s also an included tether squirt cap for when you’re not wearing the pack!

The standard blue TPU tube is an industry-standard food-safe hydration system part, but we keep learning stuff about micro and nano plastics and endocrine disruptors… I’m not a doctor, but it would seem like a reasonable choice to offer something made from an inert element, less chemically active than plastic! When paired with a stainless steel bottle you can nearly eliminate plastic exposure!
The accessories pack adds a magnetic tube clip that helps you secure your bite valve almost anywhere on most packs - it’s a great choice if your pack is lighter and possibly doesn’t have the 3/4” or 1” MOLLE webbing on packstraps. There’s also a bite valve cover to keep off the dirt and gross stuff, plus a space rotating clip for your other backpack!
