One Bottle Hydration System for TAL/Nalgene/Hydro Flask/28mm Bottles
The One Bottle Hydration System now fits on the TAL bottles found at Walmart!
You can see here that I've 3D-printed an adapter ring for the Nalgene/28mm system that allows it to fit on the wider TAL bottles. With the flip-top lid replacing the original lid you get the same smaller drinking mouth plus I'm equipping these systems with a carry loop. There's also a black plastic clip and velcro to help keep the tube organized, along with a 3D-printed dust cover for the bite valve!
This is great for day hikes plus you'll be able to extend your capacity with Smartwater bottles for longer trips, and if someone loses the TAL bottle this setup will work with a Nalgene or Thermoflask/Hydro Flask!
If you've already got one of the wide-mouth systems then you can save some money and just get the 3D-printed adapter!
This had bothered me for some time - since TAL gotten in with the world's biggest retailer they could have their own custom tooling only a few millimeters wider than the standard Nalgene. It's not too far off the mouth of Owala bottles - so when I ordered the silicone gaskets for the Owala adapter it was a no-brainer to make an adapter for TAL bottles!
Just don't drink anything hot with it!
The 63mm Nalgene wide-mouth is used on many brands including Hydro Flask, Takeya/ThermoFlask, Simple Modern, and many more!
The standard blue TPU tube can be upgraded to a silicone tube for $9 if you're worried about plastic exposure, and you can add an accessory or tube cover (or the accessories combo pack) with no extra shipping charge!
The combo pack includes a magnetic tube clip, a cleaning brush, and an extra plastic clip for $8, a 20% savings!
